Hollywood film ‘Just Mercy’ about a human rights lawyer; live music from Celtic Connections; award winning author James Kelman
Scottish author James Kelman talks about his early life and loves, and the controversy around his 1994 Booker Prize win.
Tonight will see the Lodging House Mission in the east end of Glasgow hold its annual Homelessness Sunday Service. Cathy talks to Claire Herbert, a Church of Scotland chaplain working at the Mission, and service user Ann.
To mark Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January an extraordinary new documentary weaving archive and survivors' stories. Cathy is joined by Dr Hannah Holtschneider, Senior Lecturer in Jewish Studies at Edinburgh University, and Micheline Brannan, Chair of the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities.
