Makaya recently took on the challenge of re-imagining Gil Scott-Heron鈥檚 first album, I鈥檓 New Here. The album features samples of Makaya鈥檚 live performances with some of Chicago鈥檚 new wave artists as well as vintage recordings of his musician parents. The album titles We鈥檙e New Again was released 7th February on XL Recordings.
