Beat Beethoven: Live from Salford
As part of Sport Relief, the 大象传媒 Philharmonic plays Beethoven鈥檚 famous Fifth Symphony. Listen as runners attempt to 'beat' Beethoven around a 5K course at MediaCityUK.
Katie Derham is joined by the 大象传媒 Philharmonic for a very special performance of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, conducted by Ben Gernon, to raise money for Sport Relief.
大象传媒 Radio 3 and Sport Relief are challenging members of the public to attempt to 鈥渂eat鈥� the music of Beethoven鈥檚 epic Fifth Symphony, performed live by the orchestra. Hundreds of people - from complete beginners to seasoned sprinters - will don their trainers to try and run five kilometres by the time the performance ends, letting the music fuel their feet as they race around Salford鈥檚 MediaCityUK.
