28/04/2020 'I've Never Been To Blackpool'

Last night's TV watching has inspired Sean to plan future days away. Green Green Grass Of Home is great to sing outside on a walk until it comes to the spoken bit.

After viewing a TV programme about Ken Dodd, Sean found himself watching another about a seaside resort that he now can't wait to visit.
Green Green Grass Of Home is a great song to sing when you're out on an evening's walk but it can be a bit embarrassing when it comes to the spoken bit which begins 'then I awake and look around me'.
During the lockdown Sean may have to take up knitting and wonders if people still have knitting machines. Olive in Belfast only heard the show was back on the radio when her friend Adeline in Birmingham texted her to let her know. Neil in Derry had the same story, except he was in hospital and his friend in England was called Bob.
Music from Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge, George Jones, kd lang, Bill Haley and more.
