Today, a haunting song from Giancarlo Menotti鈥檚 rarely heard opera The Medium, dances from Prokofiev鈥檚 ballet Romeo and Juliet in the hands of pianist Louis Lortie, and connections with nature expressed in an energetic orchestral piece by Antonin Dvorak.

There鈥檒l also be spirited 18th-century melodies from Italy and England and an appearance from a British jazz legend, Norma Winstone.
