The GP-led Covid 19 centre in Derry will reopen this morning after having to close over the weekend due to staff shortages.

Tough new measures to enforce social distancing have come into force in Northern Ireland where the number of people who've died with Coronavirus has now hit 21. The police are now able to issue fines ranging from 拢30 up to a maximum of 拢5,000 if people are out of their homes without a reasonable excuse such as food shopping, going to work if they cannot work at home or taking exercise. The Justice Minister, Naomi Long, insisted the new powers were not a shift in direction but merely a way to enforce the lockdown restrictions to try to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
