Figures for the number of Covid-19 related deaths in care homes are to be released each week, as it's revealed that 32 homes here have been affected by the virus.

They are among the most vulnerable in our society so why did it take until now for the health authorities to do more to test residents and staff in care homes? The government says care home residents and staff with Covid-19 symptoms will be tested for coronavirus as laboratory capacity increases while here figures for the number of people dying after contracting Covid 19 outside hospitals, whether in care homes or at home, are now to be released from this Friday. Yesterday, the Health Minister Robin Swann revealed that 32 care homes in Northern Ireland have now been affected by Coronavirus.
