Nadiya Hussain

Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad are joined by the GBBO queen Nadiya Hussain to talk about managing anxiety, how she fell in love with baking and Ramadan in lockdown.

Nadiya Hussain captured our hearts in 2015 when she won the Great British Bake Off. Now a popular TV presenter and writer, Nadiya has felt confident enough to be open about her struggles with anxiety, and she tells Jason Mohammad about how she's managing during lockdown. Her children's book 'My Monster and Me' is a story abut sharing worries which Nadiya hopes could help parents talk to their kids during this difficult time. Plus the importance of her Islamic faith and how Ramadan 2020 will be very different in the Hussain household.

Plus Kate and Jason speak too an engineering teacher who is using his skills to help frontline workers stay safe during the Covid-19 epidemic by making thousands of protective visors.
