Elizabeth Alker with music that defies classification, including an exclusive extract of a new work to accompany dawn by composer James Bulley, performed by musicians in isolation in various locations across the country. There鈥檚 music by experimental composer R Elizabeth AKA Rachael Finney, Icelandic artist Gyda Valtysdottir and Olafur Arnalds in the hands of vocal group VOCES8. Plus brand new tracks from Kit Downes and Nico Muhly, and a collaboration between experimental musician Jonas Bonnetta and virtuoso violinist Edwin Huizinga, written and recorded in Big Sur, California, inspired by the surf, the dawn chorus and the poetry of Robinson Jeffers.

Unclassified is a late night listening party, a place for curious ears to congregate, disconnect from all other devices and get lost in some soothing, serene and strange new sounds. It's a home for composers whose work cannot easily be categorised, artists who are as comfortable in a grimy basement venue as they are in a prestigious concert hall.
