This week, the panel discusses how to grow watermelon from seed, advises on splitting and repotting Aloe Vera, and reminisces on favourite gardening books.

Aside from the questions, Pippa Greenwood is on hand with her pests and diseases guide, and we journey from Tresco Abbey Gardens on the Isle of Scilly to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh via the Sir Harold Hiller gardens to hear from Mike Nelhams, Kirsty Wilson and Barry Clarke respectively.
