Episode 5
The dealers bid against each other to secure a vintage fairground game, a Chinese inkwell, a toy pedal car and a Victorian watchman鈥檚 clock.
Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First through the doors of the wondrous Bidding Room mill set deep in the Yorkshire countryside are father and daughter Ivan and Hayleigh who are hoping to hit the jackpot with a vintage fairground game. Henrie hopes to sell a silver and mahogany Chinese inkwell from the early nineteenth century. Also hoping for a good deal is Leon, whose 1950s vintage pedal car is sure to catch the eye of retro toy enthusiast and dealer Adi. And Molly from Manchester is selling the Victorian answer to a clocking in and out machine - a watchman鈥檚 clock, complete with the original leather case.
Today's dealers are Jane Cave, Tash Francis, Adi Higham, James Gooch and Ian Humphries.
