Qasa asks, do you think Asians are listening to advice about the increased risks of Covid-19 due to diabetes?

After that we’ll hear from the owner of PR agency Media Hive, Samir Ahmed, to hear his thoughts on a new report detailing the experiences of BAME people working in the PR industry. Then Qasa wants to know, do you think Asians are listening to advice about the increased risks of Covid-19 due to diabetes? A new study has shown that South Asian people are the most likely to from coronavirus after being submitted to hospital in Great Britain. It is the only ethnic group to have a raised risk of death in hospital and is partly due to high levels of diabetes. Plus we’ll hear from CEO of OOH Medical, Imraan Ladak, senior manager at Bags of Ethics, Smruti Sriram, and ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Health Reporter, Rachel Schraer, to get more information on face coverings. And we’ll be discussing how the coronavirus pandemic has led to a delay in people receiving medical treatment. We hear from Bally Sandhu who is in desperate need of a kidney transplant but his local hospital have suspended transplant operations for now.
