Bombay Bicycle Club and Margaret Glaspy
Roddy is joined by Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club and Margaret Glaspy. There's classic performances from James and Jill Jackson and new music from Paisley's kitti.
Roddy Hart is live from Pacific Quay in Glasgow with a host of friends dropping in remotely alongside new releases and archive sessions.
Having released the LP Everything Else Has Gone Wrong at the turn of the year after a 7 year hiatus, Bombay Bicycle Club were preparing themselves for a huge summer of festival performances. Since lockdown, the band decided to record a new EP of acoustic reworkings, called Two Lives, and singer Jack Steadman tells Roddy about reconnecting with fans online while live shows are on hold.
Margaret Glaspy dials in from Nashville with an exclusive acoustic performance and to chat about new LP Devotion, studying at Harvard and hosting songwriting lessons online.
There’s classic Quay Sessions’ performances from James and Jill Jackson, Ross of Blue Rose Code chooses his favourite live album and rising talent Kitti introduces us to her new EP Young, Careless & Free.
