Early music from around Europe. Bach's Organ Fantasia in G and his Orchestral Suite No 3 in D, recorded at St Thomas Church on the opening night of the Leipzig Bach Festival 2019.

Penny Gore introduces two works recorded at St Thomas Church. One of Bach's grand fantasias is played on the church's 'Bach organ鈥�, constructed in 2000, by the composer's successor as cantor at the church. And that is followed by one of the Bach's orchestral suites played by one of Germany's top period music ensembles.
