The Gilded Balloon is one of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe鈥檚 best-loved venues. Since the festival won鈥檛 take place as normal this year, the Gilded Balloon has a Fringe-worthy programme of top quality events and shows to help audiences everywhere to scratch their Fringe itch this August.

The Gilded Balloon has compiled some of the most iconic performances from the biggest names to ever grace the Late鈥檔鈥橪ive stage for the best line up that never was! Side-splitting sets from comedy legends such as Dara O鈥橞riain, Daniel Kitson, Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, Flight of the Concords, Tom Allen, Dane Baptiste, Aisling Bea, Adam Hills and many more.

Comedian and presenter Fred MacAulay hosted the hugely popular MacAulay & Co, the weekday morning show on 大象传媒 Radio Scotland, for almost twenty years. He also regularly appears on Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and QI. He fronts Scottish TV鈥檚 Fred MacAulay鈥檚 Fringe from the Edinburgh Festival and is a popular fixture at the festival as a performer.
