Jamie has music for going back to school, a chat with the Scottish Freelancers Ensemble and Andrea Baker shares her next Unsung Opera heroine.

Jamie talks to the newly created Scottish Freelancers Ensemble about the help they鈥檙e offering musicians and planned music performances of underrepresented people. There鈥檚 maths and storytelling in musical form for pupils and teachers gearing up for week two of the school term. British-American mezzo soprano Andrea Baker shares another opera hero whose former pupils include Dawn Upshaw and Ren茅e Fleming. Plus music from pianist Francesco Piemontesi, the SCO and Andrew Manze in Jamie鈥檚 Album of the Week.
