Dr Sinéad Duggan is a Senior Research Fellow working in Trinity College, Dublin and in Tallaght University Hospital. She has taken the Viva Voce challenge to summarise her PhD research within just a few minutes. Sinéad studied patients with pancreatitis, in particular those with chronic pancreatitis. She found, amongst other discoveries, the range of vitamins in which these patients are often lacking and also why osteoporosis is common amongst this group of people.
