As the jobless rate rises to its highest level since 2017 we want to know how you're managing your family finances.
How has the Covid crisis affected your ability to make ends meet? Figures out today show the UK unemployment rate has surged to its highest level in over three years as the pandemic continues to hit jobs. It grew to 4.5% in the three months to August, compared with 4.1% previously. There are fears it could hit four million, a level not seen since the 1980s. The number of people claiming Universal Credit, has risen to 2.7 million.
All these figures point to the economy struggling for years to come. It's a gloomy long term view but we want to know how you're managing day-to-day at the moment. Already many people have seen their incomes plummet as they've lost all or some of their work. Some have not been helped by the government's job protection schemes. Tell us how the Coronavirus crisis has affected your ability to make ends meet. What changes have you made?
