Sean remembers when you started a job you didn't get paid for the first week.
Don says it was mainly in the days when you could walk out of one job and go to another, so that the factory was protected from someone not giving any notice.
Jimmy in Coleraine says his uncle Albert was the caretaker in the showgrounds and used to rub something called Evergreen into the legs of the horses there. Eddie Mahon says it was called Wintergreen and many a time it was rubbed into his legs when he was playing football.
Patrick in Derry says it was also used because the smell kept flies and wasps out of the dressing room.
Where did that weekend ago? Sean says it was only two hours ago he was sitting in the studio on Friday afternoon. He also keeps finding bits of paper in his pockets with requests written on them.
The Citizen remembers when he was a boy he used to have baseball boots, canvas and rubber with a round star at the heel. Sean thinks Eamon in Strabane was swanky because his sister worked in the Converse factory in America and she used to bring Eamon back the real ones.
