Garden Centres, Just Park, Ventilation

What we'll be buying from garden centres during lockdown in England. We investigate reports of people's driveways rented out without permission

Garden centres will remain open during lockdown in England. It's a seasonal business model, garden centres generally give over much of their space to Christmas decorations and gifting at this time of year. For people who don't shop online, garden centres may become the only place they can do their Christmas shopping. At the same time garden centre cafes and restaurants, a big part of their income, will close. We speak to the boss of one garden centre about how lockdown will impact their Christmas plans.
We investigate reports of people's driveways that have been rented out without their permission. Homeowners have discovered people parked in their driveways or parking spaces, who claim they've paid to rent the space. We speak to Just Park, the parking rental firm, about how they tackle such incidents of fraud.
Could better ventilation be the key to getting back into offices? In July the World Health Organisation confirmed that airborne transmission via tiny droplets called aerosols could be one of the ways in which coronavirus is transmitted. The German government recently announced a 拢450m fund to upgrade ventilation systems in public buildings. We look at what sort of ventilation is currently used in our offices, schools, restaurants and other buildings, and how it could be used as one of the tools to prevent infection.
