Award-winning Dr Rajan Bedi from Cookstown explains how he became a designer of satellite technology, and Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason on life raising her seven musically trained children.
Dr Rajan Bedi, from Cookstown, tells John how he recently became the Great British Disruptive Entrepreneur of 2020 for his design of electronics used on board satellites and spacecraft and how it’s part of a critical life support system which we depend on every day. Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason talks about her 7 classically trained musical children and what it takes to raise a musical family in Britain divided by class and race. Yuri Keown talks about her journey from New York as a fashion designer to starting Love Wonky in Kilkeel - a non-profit clothes company with items knitted by Kilkeel women to help empower woman’s groups in Bolivia and Guatemala.
