Ian Rankin and Glenda Jackson
Award-winning crime writer Ian Rankin has chosen some of today's music, and chats about how important music is in his life.
On Monday Grant will be chatting to Donald ‘Sweeney’ MacSween, a crofter from Lewis who was Romesh Ranganathan’s guide when he visited the Hebrides for his Christmas special, The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan.
Grant will be asking best-selling crime writer and creator of the Detective Rebus stories, Ian Rankin, to choose some of today’s records, talk about why they mean so much to him and how they helped him get through 2020.
There’s also another chance to hear from award-winning actress Glenda Jackson on her reaction to receiving a Scottish Bafta for her outstanding performance as Maud in the drama Elizabeth is Missing.
Another Scottish Bafta success was the ´óÏó´«Ã½ drama Guilt and during filming, Afternoon Show reporter Paul English was on location with the production. We hear his report including interviews with the stars Mark Bonnar and Jamie Sives.
