Emily Pilbeam sits in for Huw Stephens as part of Radio 1's Christmas Presenters for 2020 - a week of new presenting talent taking over the schedule.

A regular on 大象传媒 Music Introducing in West Yorkshire, Leeds-based Emily usually also puts on gigs at local venue Oporto and DJs at Belgrave Music Hall. 鈥淏ut nowadays, my time outside of work is spent in the bath,鈥� she jokes.

The 23-year-old says it鈥檚 an 鈥渦nbelievable鈥� feeling to be part of the Christmas schedule. 鈥淚've listened to Radio 1 religiously since a very young age so to actually be presenting on the station feels completely mental - in the best possible way. I can't wait to play some ace tunes for everyone to enjoy over the Christmas period!鈥�
