Vicky Hawkesworth presents big anthems and tunes you haven't heard in ages on her first ever Radio 1 show.

24-year-old Bolton resident Vicky is one of Radio 1's Christmas Presenters for 2020 - a week of new presenting talent taking over the schedule. She has presented on Bolton FM and Durham OnAir, although her radio experience goes way back to childhood, when she created a fictional station called Radio Archie (鈥渢he only presenter on this station was my polar bear teddy aptly named Archie!鈥�)

It鈥檚 an 鈥渋ncredible feeling鈥� to be making her debut on Radio 1 this month, she says. 鈥淚鈥檓 so excited to get stuck in!鈥�

鈥淚 love learning and trying new things,鈥� she adds, having taught herself keyboard and taxi-whistling while in lockdown, as well as going to dance classes in her spare time.
