In this review of the year, Yvonne and Julian look back at some positive moments, some incredibly important conversations and end it on a happy note.

The year 2020 has been full of ups and downs and has certainly been a strange year for all. In this review of the year, we take a look back at some positive moments and some incredibly important conversations before ending it on a happy note.

Yvonne and Julian take us though some highlights of how the deaf community pulled together in high spirits and helped keep us all entertained with some unique and exciting content during lockdown. Lisa Kelly reports on online quizzes and how they became the pinnacle of entertainment for many people through lockdown. We discover how one person brought so many people together all under one roof, but just how many, you鈥檒l have to find out...

Yvonne and Julian talk to two directors who have been working with Bristol-based international theatre company Ad Infinitum to produce two powerful films during lockdown. We learn about their process and what they found out along the way.

2020 has also been a year of political unrest sparked by the death of George Floyd in America back in June. This has raised a number of important conversations about racism within various communities, including the deaf community. Chris Laing is joined by Ayla Wellington and Paul Ntulila as they reflect on this year and the impact of the recent conversations around racism on the black deaf community.

Finally, we look forward into 2021 and what things to look forward to.
