LPO and Jurowski perform Bach, Brett Dean and Stravinsky

The LPO and their principal conductor, Vladimir Jurowski, perform Bach, Stravinsky and are joined by accordion player Bartosz Glowacki for Brett Dean's concerto, The Players.

Tonight鈥檚 concert was recorded in December at the Royal Festival Hall with the LPO and Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski, in a programme of music ranging from JS Bach to a UK Premiere by Brett Dean, marking the beginning of his Composer-in-Residence with the LPO.
After Bach鈥檚 sunny Fifth Brandenburg, star accordion player Bartosz Glowacki is the soloist in 鈥楾he Players鈥�, the compelling new accordion concerto by Brett Dean.
The concert ends with a complete performance of Stravinsky鈥檚 theatrical mock-Baroque extravaganza Pulcinella.
