Lead by guitarist Tom Excell, Nubiyan Twist have been fuelling dance floors across the UK and Europe since they formed in Leeds a decade ago. Their third album, Freedom Fables, is released in March and features guest appearances from leading UK jazz talents including Soweto Kinch, Cherise and Ego Ella May.
Drawing on a range of styles - Nubiyan Twist's sound fuses jazz, afrobeat, hip-hop, latin, broken beat and soul - the group鈥檚 razor sharp musicianship is plain to hear in this special live session, which includes versions of fiery single Tittle Tattle, and soulful album cut Morning Light
