Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad chat to The Vivienne about the art of British drag and how she feels about getting back onstage. Plus we look ahead to the National Day of Reflection next week, a year since our first nationwide lockdown.

The Vivienne can safely claim to be British drag royalty after winning the first series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019. She tells Kate and Jason about what attracted her to drag, why British drag is so unique and how it helps her mental health. Plus plenty of giggles about Series 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK which has just crowned a new winner and how she feels about eventually getting back onstage and in front of audiences.

As the country went into national lockdown last March, Catherine Mayer's world had already changed irreversibly after the death of her husband, guitarist Andy Gill. Only weeks before she'd lost her step-father. Catherine and her Mum, Anne Mayer Bird, have written about their twin widowhood in a book full of life and love. She shares her experience and advice for the recently bereaved with Kate and Jason.

And the author Onjali Rauf joins us to Pause for Thought.
