After back-to-back grand final wins, including a stunning last-gasp victory in November, St Helens have established themselves as the team to beat in domestic rugby league. But success in the Challenge Cup has proved hard to come by in recent years, with Saints last lifting the famous trophy back in 2008.

And they face a tough opening hurdle this year in Leeds, who have been the cup kings of the decade, winning three times in the past seven years. It is all set up to be a fantastic start to a busy season of rugby league on the 大象传媒, which culminates in an autumn World Cup.
