Ón TaobhlÃne
Sanctuary Runners, Mairéad Seoighe, Craobh Snúcair an Domhain.
Nà bheidh maratón Chorcaà á rith ar an ghnáth-bhealach i mbliana, ach beidh sé á rith go fÃorúil, ag an fhoireann is ilchineálaà ar domhan! Sin à an fhÃs atá ag Niamh Nà Chonchúir agus Busie Mhlophe ó The Sanctuary Runners, eagraÃocht a thugann le chéile Éireannaigh agus a gcomharsana úra – na teifigh agus iarrthóirà tearmainn inár measc – le bheith ag rith le chéile ar mhaithe le cairdeas agus dlúthpháirtÃocht a chothú. Tá móragallamh againn le Mairéad Seoighe, peileadóir idirchontae na Gaillimhe agus réalta North Melbourne i bpeil na hAstráile, ag súil le tús an tséasúir peile. Agus tá an scéala is déanaà ag Ruth Nic Aibhne dúinn ó Craobh Snúcair an Domhain.
The Cork City Marathon will not be run in the usual way this June, but it will be run virtually, by the most diverse running team on earth! That’s the vision of The Sanctuary Runners, an organisation bringing Irish residents and their new neigbours together in the spirit of friendship through running. Busie Mhlophe and Niamh Nà Chonchúir join us to discuss their ambitious plans and how listeners can get involved. We also feature an exclusive interview with inter-county footballer and former North Melbourne AFLW star, Mairéad Seoighe, as she looks forward to another season playing for Galway. And Ruth Nic Aibhne joins us with the very latest from the World Snooker Championships.
