The concert is given as part of the orchestra鈥檚 鈥楴ew Beginnings鈥� season and features mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly performing Berlioz鈥檚 evocative song cycle, Les nuits d鈥檈te. INTERVAL
The theme of tonight鈥檚 concert continues with a pianistic picture taking us from dusk back to dawn as conjured in the mind of Robert Schumann. Sviatoslav Richter performs Papillons in a classic recording made in Italy in the early 1960s.
