"I'm in the garden," says Seamus Mulgrew, "painting my garden furniture."

"Chairs are a very hard thing to paint," Sean says. "You always leave a bit out. Especially if there's wee bars along the back. It's very annoying. But what's the hardest thing to paint?"

"Windows," Janet says.

"Hateful!" Sean says. "You're right! Window painting is hateful! I'm getting very annoyed with the window in our house! You know the wee window up on the roof? You know that wee boy you pull down? There's so many bits! There's outside on the roof where the crows sit, and there's bits on the side, and bits everywhere. I've painted that window eleven times . . . and I'm still missing bits!"
