Katie Derham talks to the soprano Miah Persson about her forthcoming role as the Marschallin, in Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier, at this summer's Garsington Opera. Members of recorder consort Fontanella also join Katie ahead of their appearance this weekend at Hertfordshire Music Festival, and there's news of a new festival, SmorgasChord, based in Oxford this weekend. Katie meets its artistic directors, cellist Eliza Millett and pianist and composer Sebastian Black.
