The Radio 2 Book Club with Rahul Raina
Rahul Raina discusses his novel How to Kidnap the Rich - the Book Of The Month and TV producer, broadcaster and writer Richard Osman is the guest reviewer.
Rahul Raina discusses his debut novel How to Kidnap the Rich - the Radio 2 Book Club Book Of The Month, which is a satire on modern India and tells the story of ‘Ramesh Kumar’, who has a simple formula for fame and success… find a wealthy kid, make him a star, and create an elaborate scheme to extort money from his parents.
Rahul runs his own consultancy in England for part of the year, and works for charities for street children and teaches English in India in the down season. He wrote How to Kidnap the Rich, set in the 40 degree heat of New Delhi, where he wrote it in the evening after doing his volunteer charity work.
TV producer, broadcaster and best-selling writer Richard Osman is the guest reviewer. And there's the Factoids, Non-Stop Oldies and the latest entertainment and lifestyle news.
