"Are you Twitter?"

Sean asks Emma and Janet for advice on social media.

"You're not quite there yet with Twitter," a listener says.

"No," Sean says, "I can't get the hang of it. I look at it, but don't know when you join in. It's like, you know, in my days of skipping? I couldn't run in. It's like that. I don't know how to enter this game of Twitter. I don't know whether they're talking to me. Do you scroll from the top down, Janet?"

Janet doesn't know. She doesn't do Twitter.

"Emma," Sean says, "are you Twitter?"

Emma shakes her hands from side to side.

"I just can't get into Twitter," Sean says. "I don't know who you're talking to, or if it's private, or what's going on."

"I've been using Twitter for quite a few years," says Patrick Parsons. "It started during half time at a Derry City Drogheda game."

"OK," Sean says. "My problem with Twitter and with phones, is I have no interest in them. And that's the truth of it. There's these things, telling you how to hold one finger down, and then paste. I just look at those things and move on. I haven't a clue."

"Always remember," says Pawnbroker, "when us left-handers start something we master it!"

"I will never get the hand of the mobile phone. I leave it at home."

With music from Tom Petty, Rod Stewart, The Flying Pickets, Lindsey Buckingham, and more.
