Bathhouses have helped to launch the musical careers of electronic music legends such as Frankie Knuckles & Larry Levan and subsequently creating the blueprint for New York鈥檚 disco and house scenes. Bathhouses also acted as early performances from future legends within the wider mainstream music scene - playing host to the likes of Melba Moore, Bette Midler, and Barry Manilow.
