Wishbone Ash was one of Copeland’s early success stories right at the start of the decade, even though he admits he was very inexperienced when it came to managing and advising bands back then. His career and life story is detailed in an amazing new book ‘Two Steps Forward, One Step Back - My Life In The Music Business’, which is published this month. Johnnie will be discussing the changing face of the industry over the past five decades, including stories and anecdotes of the tactics he used to help turn his younger brother Stewart Copeland’s group The Police into one of the hottest bands in the world at the end of the Seventies.

All that, plus another classic single heads into Johnnie’s Jukebox.

A no.1 song from 1979 that stopped so many people in their tracks when they first heard it goes under the spotlight for our One Of A Kind feature.

This Week In Music has mentions of some big name birthdays and notable events.

Finally, we wrap things up with a brilliant live performance In Concert, recorded this week in 1972, in front of 20,000 screaming fans.
