I'm in a state of shock today." Sean says. "I don't know if I'll be able to continue this programme. I went to the dentist for a filling. I went along at about eleven. But it turned out I had other work to get done. And they pulled out a tooth! An extraction! And I'm not over it yet. I really am in a state of shock."

Janet is smiling behind the glass.

"You're really enjoying it!" Sean says to Janet. "The dentist said to me, 'what's the point in coming back in September? I can take it out now. And I had to man up. I had to say, 'Rip it out!' I'm still not over it. A part of my body was ripped from its moorings!"
