Blink 182 co-founder and Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom De Longe chooses his Rock God, plus 'This Week In Rock' charts a nasty break for one of the nicest men in rock.

Tom De Longe's voice is instantly recognisable. Since co-founding Blink 182 in the early '90's, its fair to say he helped shape the sound of late 90's and early 00's rock for millions of fans. His fractious relationship with his bandmates eventually put paid to his time with Blink but his success with Angels and Airwaves has helped Tom keep his place in the music world. Five albums on since their inception in 2005, there's a new Angels and Airwaves single and they're scheduling live shows in the US too. His Rock God is a real curve ball - a sublime choice but definitely not one you'd expect.

Elsewhere on the programme, a spectacular stage fall leads to some creative gigging for one rock frontman for 'This Week In Rock' and there are fresh releases from new supergroup LA Rats among others, plus a fine clutch of rock anthems, too.
