String Quartets by Haydn and Mozart at Wurzburg Festival 2020

Highlights from last year's festival, recorded at Wurzburg Imperial Residence. String Quartets by Haydn and Mozart performed by the Signum and Szymanowski Quartets.

In today's recital, the Signum and Szymanowski Quartets perform works by two composers who were great admirers of each other鈥檚 work - Haydn and Mozart, and including Mozart's dedication to Haydn, his 'Dissonance' String Quartet No. 19 in C, K. 465.

Avi Avital and Olga Pashchenko provide an encore in the form of Beethoven's Sonatina for Mandolin and Harpsichord, WoO 44a.
