The best music from an amazing decade, all hand-picked and curated by Johnnie.

He鈥檚 joined this week from New York by acclaimed singer-songwriter Dean Friedman.

Dean鈥檚 been a regular visitor to the UK since the late 70s when he scored a Top 3 hit with the song 鈥楲ucky Stars鈥�. He continues to make new music and has been busy during lockdown with intimate Zoom gigs for his fans around the world. There鈥檚 a new album to discuss titled 鈥楢merican Lullaby鈥� which is released at the end of August, and Dean鈥檚 promoting it with a six-night virtual show at this year鈥檚 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. All of which means he and Johnnie have lots to talk about, and we鈥檒l hear a couple of his best-loved songs.

A 1979 rock anthem enters 鈥楯ohnnie鈥檚 Jukebox鈥�, and something very quirky from that same year is the latest suggestion for our 鈥極ne Of A Kind鈥� slot.
