Bells on Sunday comes from the church of St Laurence, Reading in Berkshire

Bells on Sunday comes from the church of St Laurence, Reading in Berkshire. The first mention of bells in the tower is from the church warden鈥檚 account roll of 1433. By 1788 there were ten bells, cast by Robert Caitlin of London. In 1929, they were augmented to twelve bells by Mears and Stainbank with the tenor weighing twenty three hundredweight on the note of D. They are the only ring of twelve bells in Berkshire. We hear them ringing Cambridge Surprise Maximus.
