In rowing, Britain鈥檚 men鈥檚 four attempted to continue a run that stretches back to Sydney 2000 by winning a sixth-consecutive gold medal.

In rugby sevens, it was all about turning silver into gold for Britain鈥檚 Rio 2016 runners-up.
