Day 15: Red Button - 21:55-04:00

Men's basketball gold-medal match between USA and France, plus women's marathon, canoe sprint semi-finals, beach volleyball bronze-medal match & women's golf final round.

USA v France: this is a rematch of their opening game of the tournament, in which France pulled off a famous victory that ended the USA鈥檚 unbeaten run at the Olympics - dating back to 2004 and only their sixth defeat in an Olympic match. The Americans routed Australia 97-78 in the semi-finals despite trailing by 15 points in the second quarter. They have won 15 of the 19 golds since basketball was introduced in 1936. Aside from that win over the Americans in the group stage, France also knocked them out of the World Cup in 2019 and their five NBA players are headlined by three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz. The only previous Olympic men鈥檚 basketball medals they have won were silvers in 1948 and 2000.

In the women's marathon, Kenya are looking to claim back-to-back Olympic golds and boast the biggest name in women's marathon running, Brigid Kosgei. GB's Steph Twell makes her third Olympic appearance, Jessica Piasecki is the third-fastest Brit of all time and Stephanie Davis is the 2021 British champion.

There are four golds to be won in the canoe sprint at Sea Forest Waterway and there's action from the women's and men's canoe semi-finals with the top four qualifying for the final. Men's beach volleyball bronze-medal match between Qatar and Latvia, with the former aiming to win a first medal for a Middle Eastern country in Olympic beach volleyball through Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan. They face Latvia鈥檚 surprise package Martins Plavins and Edgars Tocs, the world number 34 ranked pair.

All eyes on the Kasumigaseki Country Club where the women's golf nears the conclusion with a storm brewing on and off the course. With a tropical storm forcast to arrive later in the day, the tee times have been pushed forward with world number one Korda the clubhouse lead by three shots but India's Aditi Ashok, New Zealand's Lydia Ko and Japan's Mone Inami are nicely poised to cause an upset.
