Alice Dearing makes history as the first black female swimmer to compete for Great Britain at an Olympics. It's a repeat of the Rio 2016 final matchup as GB face Netherlands in the women's semi-final. In the men's beach volleyball quarter-finals, Norway's world number one pair Anders Mol and Christian Sorum take on Russians Ilya Leshukov and Konstantin Semenov. Mol and Sorum beat Rio bronze medallists Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen in the last 16. Beach volleyball & women's golf first round. In the women's golf, the event is stacked with the world鈥檚 best and they鈥檝e spoken with great enthusiasm about golf鈥檚 place at the Olympics. World number one Nelly Korda won the first major of her career at the KPMG Women鈥檚 PGA Championship in June and will play for the USA alongside her sister Jessica. Great Britain鈥檚 Mel Reid won her first LPGA title in October 2020 at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and the world number 40 is joined by Jodi Ewart Shadoff.
