Many are opting for a 'hybrid' option with workers spending two or three days in the office. But amid reports of firms preparing to offer lower salaries for people who choose to live away from places of work, new research from the networking organisation LinkedIn suggests a shift towards a preference for going back into the office - and worries about missing out on promotions is one of the reasons cited.
