The Huddersfield-born genre pioneer, producer & DJ celebrates the Noughties bassline era with a bouncing and euphoric mix to celebrate the Northern rave sound. Ahead of 6 Music's All Day Rave (Back to the Noughties), we pay homage to bassline: the dance music genre born out of Yorkshire in the mid-noughties with close ties to UK garage and MC-led grime with a melodic pop sensibility. Synonymous with the scene since the beginning, DJ Q brings together an authentic and infectious blend of bassline remixes of pop and R&B bangers, deeper cuts as well as classics like T2's 'Heartbroken' and his 2008 breakthrough hit 'U Wot'.
