The best One Hit Wonders and the stories behind them, this week with John Paul Young telling the story of Love Is in the Air.

OJ plays the best One Hit Wonders from the 80s, 90s, 00s and beyond.

This week, he is dipping into the archives, for an interview we first played in January.

His guest is John Paul Young, talking about his song ‘Love Is In The Air’.

This is one of OJ’s favourites of all-time.

John talks about how the song became such a big hit, its second coming after featuring in Baz Luhrmann's debut film ‘Strictly Ballroom’ in 1992, and what it was like performing it at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics in 2000

John Paul Young is a Scottish-born Australian pop singer.

Had a worldwide hit with "Love Is in the Air" in 1978.
