Diane Warren, one of modern music's most celebrated songwriters, chooses the Tracks of My Years. There's the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster.

Diane Warren, one of modern music's most celebrated songwriters, chooses the Tracks of My Years. Mega hits such as 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing', 'If I Could Turn Back Time', 'Unbreak My Heart' and 'How Do I Live?' were all penned by Diane across a record-breaking near 40 year career.

Growing up in California, she started playing guitar at age 10 and soon began writing her own songs. Since then, she has penned nine number ones and thirty-two top 10 hits, is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and is tied for having written the most number one songs as a sole writer in Billboard history. She has earned 12 Academy Award nominations, is a Grammy winner with 15 nominations, Emmy winner and two-time Golden Globe award winner whose songs have been featured in more than 100 films.

The list of legends and icons Diane has written for in the past includes Aretha Franklin, Beyonc茅, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and many more.

Now for the first time, she has released an album under her own name called 'The Cave Sessions Vol. 1'. This collection of new original songs includes some of the biggest worldwide artists such as John Legend, Luis Fonsi, Jon Batiste, Pentatonix, Rita Ora, Sofia Reyes, Reik, James Arthur, LP, Celine Dion, Paloma Faith, Leona Lewis and James Morrison.

Diane teamed up with multi-platinum superstar G-Eazy and music legend Carlos Santana on the opening track 鈥楽he鈥檚 Fire鈥 which was spotlighted by Rolling Stone and had one critic saying it 鈥渄eserved all the fire emojis.鈥

The next two tracks Diane has chosen come from The Supremes and Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terell. Ken also has the love song and more from PopMaster. To contact the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
