Public Service Broadcasting play live in session for Steve from Maida Vale ahead of the release of their fourth album Bright Magic - a tribute to the capital of Germany, Berlin.

Public Service Broadcasting play live in session for Steve from Maida Vale ahead of the release of their fourth album Bright Magic.

The three-piece group return with their tribute to the German capital of Berlin, Bright Magic, released on Friday (Sept 24th) via Play It Again Sam and including the singles People Let's Dance and Blue Heaven. Split into three parts (Building A City / Building A Myth / Bright Magic) it brings the listener to the heart of the city, as J. Willgoose Esq recorded the sounds of the city during a nine month period whilst living there. He says "It鈥檚 become an album about moving to Berlin to write an album about people who move to Berlin to write an album". It includes samples of Walter Ruttmann鈥檚 radical Berlin tape-artwork Wochenende (or Weekend) as well as vocals from Berlin-based musician EERA and Einst眉rzende Neubauten's Blixa Bargeld.
